Open Season helps hunters track U.S. season dates, tag and draw application deadlines, and regulations across every state you hunt — with reminders before every date that matters. Need a hand? Start here.

Tap Manage your hunts on the Home screen (or re-run the welcome flow) to add or remove any state and the species you hunt. Home, Seasons, and Tags update to match.
Season and deadline data is compiled from official state wildlife-agency documents and is added state-by-state. If a species shows "No dates yet," we either haven't published that state's current-season dates yet or the agency hasn't released them. It will appear once it's verified.
Enable notifications during setup (or in your device Settings). Open Season sends a push reminder before each season opener and application deadline for what you follow, so you never miss a date.
Never. The application tracker captures a username and link only — keep the password in your phone's password manager. We never ask for portal passwords.
In the app, go to Settings → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and permanent, and removes your profile, follows, alert settings, and tracked applications.
